On December 15 to 16, the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine organized the expert group composed by the domestic authoritative experts in the relevant fields, to the newly constructed National Bearings and Parts Quality Inspection Center to do the site investigation. Wang Jiwei, the Director of Science and Technology Division of the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, led the research and the leadership of the County Committee, the deputy magistrate Ke Yu, and the deputy director of Shaoxing Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau Wang Shichao accompanied the research.
On the research conference, Ke Yu has introduced the development of the Xinchang bearing industry to the expert group, and the project director of the center construction unit ¨C the bearing products quality inspection center of the province, has reported the project preparation on National Bearings and Parts Quality Inspection Center. Ke Yu made out that in accordance with the requirements of the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the expert group, under the guidance of the quality supervision department in the province and municipality, Xinchang will promote the construction of the National Bearings and Parts Quality Inspection Center with high starting point and high standards, providing strong technical and quality services for bearings and spare parts industries in the whole province, east China and even the country.
Subsequently, the experts from the China Bearing Industry Association, the Quality Inspection Center of National Bearings and Piping Components, Special Examination Center in Beijing and Hubei Quality Center also came to the Bearing Inspection Center Laboratory and PEER Bearing Company to do the site visit and give the guidance. Meanwhile, the experts questioned the project director on matters related to the project preparation, and gave opinions and suggestions to the target positioning of the center, the laboratory settings, the introduction of talents, as well as the appraisal for the researches.
The preparation unit of National Bearings and Parts Quality Inspection Center is the bearing products quality inspection center in the province, and the mother unit is the County Product Quality Supervision and Inspection. The planned total investment is 39.5 million yuan. In accordance with the construction positioning ¡°domestic leading, world-class, international mutual recognition¡±, we will build a complex bearing industry service platform by combining arbitration, standards, testing, analysis, research and development, and training together, and it is expected to be completed by the end of 2013.
